More than a beach restaurant, Berlim is a symbol of tradition and shared memories at Meia Praia. For over 50 years, we've welcomed families, friends and travelers looking for authentic Portuguese flavors, always with the ocean as a backdrop and fresh fish as the star.
Restaurante Bar Berlim is a true landmark on Meia Praia beach, in Lagos. Opened over 50 years ago, it was the very first restaurant on this stunning stretch of sand — and ever since, it's become a summer tradition for countless families from Portugal and beyond.
With its privileged beachfront location, Berlim is all about warm hospitality, authentic flavors, and unforgettable memories. We're a living example of traditional Portuguese cuisine, where fresh fish and seafood always take center stage.

Piri-Piri 4 ever! Great fish dishes, superbe meat grills (except - in my case - the burger), very friendly people, very obliging and with a good twist on humor. One of the best restaurants around Lagos. Do not miss it.
Very friendly staff (owner?). Beautiful view, outside terrace with shades. Food was delicious, we had the traditional vegetable soup, fish soup (with noodles), grilled sardines & pork alentejo style (with mussels). Choose a rose 🍷! We plan on visiting the place more often!
This place was great! It is located just a short walk up the boardwalk from parking, and there is plenty of seating with views out over the water! They have indoor seating that can protect you from the winds, and they have outdoor covered seating to protect you from the sun. We sat inside and the windows were open to give us the feeling of being outside. The service was excellent, and the food was really tasty. We had the fish soup for a starter and Sea Bass and Mussels for our main dishes. Would recommend all of them! The price was reasonable, was around 50 euros for both of us to eat. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and would recommend it to anyone!
Delicious fresh fish and very friendly staff! We recommend the gold bream, it was so good that we came back for more. The fish soup was tasty as well. I also really liked the white wine. On top the prices are fair. A bit of background music would have been nice.
Beautiful spot on the boardwalk. Great views, lovely atmosphere, good service and amazing food. I ordered the mackerel which was really good. I also indulged in a slice of delicious lemon cake with my coffee.
